SRD Holywood Productions is a female‑led theatrical youth arts program operating under the umbrella of True Life Revelations Ministries, LLC. Founded and guided by Dr. Sherry Wright‑Gully is built on a legacy of creativity, collaboration, and purpose. As a devoted mother to two adult daughters and a doting grandmother to five cherished grand‑loves, Dr. Wright‑Gully brings unmatched warmth, vision, and generational wisdom to every aspect of our work.

The name, SRD, honors Sherry, Ronda, and Diamond—a family legacy that continues to inspire our commitment to excellence, integrity, and artistic empowerment.

Rooted in live theatre and short‑film production, SRD Holywood Productions is expanding into web‑based series to broaden our reach and deepen our impact. We specialize in clean, compelling content that uplifts families, strengthens communities, and provides youth with a safe, creative space to grow in confidence, character, and artistic skill.

Our Story | Our Staff

As previously mentioned, SRD Holywood Productions was founded by Dr. Sherry Wright-Gully, born from her passion and experience in writing and producing gospel stage plays. Her debut production, Single Wives, premiered in 2003 at O'Fallon Apostolic Assembly under the leadership of Bishop Gregory Wells, Sr., and received a standing ovation. The enthusiastic response to that first performance ignited her desire to continue creating impactful theatrical works, ultimately leading to the incorporation of SRD in 2005 under a different name.

Her productions have been showcased at notable venues including the Missouri History Museum, Southern Illinois University–Edwardsville, and the University of Missouri–St. Louis, reaching audiences across multiple states, including Georgia. Among her proudest achievements is the selection of her work Circle of Influence for a staged reading at the Atlanta Black Theatre Festival (ABTF), a milestone that allowed her cast to travel to Atlanta, perform at the festival, and engage with a diverse community of artists and celebrities.

At SRD Holywood Productions, we are passionate about creating a space where local youths can discover, develop, and share their God‑given talents. Through an open audition process centered on memorized monologues, we welcome both seasoned performers and first‑time actors. Our casting directors offer thoughtful, constructive feedback after each performance, fostering growth and confidence in every participant.

We proudly offer workshop programs for those who feel called to the stage but lack the experience or assurance to begin. Time and again, first‑time actors have stunned audiences with performances that reveal no trace of inexperience. This nurturing environment has led to lifelong friendships, marriages, and a community rooted in strong values, artistic excellence, and the belief that the arts can heal the soul.
